The Story

My husband and I traveled to Ecuador for the first time in November 2019. During one of our stops, we visited Parque Cóndor and came across these beautiful handmade greeting cards. We purchased all the remaining cards, and the more my husband and I looked at them, the more we admired and appreciated the delicate handmade craftsmanship.

The contact of the designer,  Paola Vallejo, who made the cards, was inserted. I learned that she and her family were suffering due to the pandemic as their once-flourishing business stopped. My husband and I agreed to help Paola and her family by introducing her cards to our communities, friends, and family.

Greeting card specifications:

• ​Due to the handmade assembly of each card, uniformity varies slightly in color and composition, e.g., see Design 7, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 28, and 29. The cards' measurements vary from 13.0 x 9.5 to 11.1 x 8.8 centimeters. The tiny cards vary from 6.3 x 2.9 to 6.7 x 4.0.

• Cards do not include envelopes.
